Rencons has taken its first step on the implementation of the Lakhta Center project.

Rencons and JSC Social and Business Center Okhta signed the contract for laying the foundation of the multifunctional building of the Lakhta Center complex in St. Petersburg. Within several days, Rencons is planning to start the works on site. The contract term is scheduled for 7 months. 

The Lakhta Center, with its 462.7-meter-tall skyscraper as the dominant building, will accommodate the headquarters of Gazprom neft and its affiliated companies. The Lakhta Center will provide a wide range of public facilities, including exhibition halls, an educational complex, a children’s center, a planetarium, and a health center. In addition it will contain It will also comprise a hotel, a multifunctional congress hall, a cinema, and a sports center.

The total area of the buildings and facilities will amount to 400,000 sq m. The commissioning is scheduled for 2018.
