Expertise

Rencons has been utilizing Building Information Modelling (BIM) system since the beginning of the 21st century as part of its strategic plan. Through the incorporation of BIM system to the design and project management, projects are managed in a more timely manner, the quality of process and products are enhanced, time and cost overruns are minimized, quantity take-offs and project costs are more accurately estimated, and project information are more effectively shared among all project participants.

With designing, utilizing and managing project components as in the form of “intelligent objects” incorporating their “information”, Rencons BIM team has been supporting various project phases and project participants involved in project value chain as well as has more effectively managed design and construction with the 4D and 5D building models having rich and intelligent building data.

Our initiatives;

  • Effectively utilizing BIM in projects and benefit from its expected outcomes
  • Investigating and developing the best-practices and techniques about BIM
  • Organizing training and education programs
  • Providing in-house consulting services

Rencons has been facilitating BIM system in four major fields;

  • 3D Modelling: Visualization and development of “intelligent objects”
  • 4D Modeling: Project simulation and project scheduling
  • 5D Modelling: Quantity take-off and cost estimation
  • Lean Construction and Sustainability

  • Lean Construction and Sustainability

also given crucial attention to the principles of lean construction to maximize the value offered by its projects and minimize the waste. Lean construction provides; minimization of waste, thorough understanding of client requirements and expectations, enhancement of communication and coordination among project stakeholders, and increase in process efficiency by executing precise and accurate processes throughout the projects.

Through applying the principles of lean construction, Rencons has been preventing possible uncertainties, obtaining products in targeted quality, preventing cost and time overruns, reducing waste and ensuring the client satisfaction.

By embracing the lean construction principles, we maximize our overall performance and quality by:

  • reducing waste
  • eliminating cost and time overruns
  • minimizing revisions
  • detecting pitfalls and problems at early stages of projects
  • synchronizing design, construction and procurement activities
  • focusing on our clients’ needs and requirements and defining value from the client’s perspective
  • ensuring reliability of workflow and scheduling
  • establishing effective communications
  • building long-term relations with project participants

Acting with environmental responsibility and awareness, Rencons has knew the negative impacts of the structures built on environmental and human health such as excessive consumption of energy, water and materials and emissions of various greenhouse gases. Rencons, adopting various strategies to avoid possible effects of its projects on the environment and human health, has attached great importance to design, construct and operate its projects in accordance with the “Green Building” principles.

As being a leader in its sectors; Rencons has also taken pioneering and innovative steps in the regions where it operates with the importance given to sustainability and environmental health through undertaking various projects awarded by LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification; that is one of the most important certifications in the field of environment issued by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).

Through designing with sustainable design principles, supplying environmentally friendly and re-cycled materials, utilizing sustainable technologies and constructing with green building principles, some of the projects of Rencons, which have been awarded by LEED certification by USGBC, are as follows:

LEED certified projects in Russia are:

— Lakhta Center Tower, St. Petersburg (LEED Platinum);
— Lakhta Center Multifunctional Building, St. Petersburg (LEED Gold);
— Neva Towers, Moscow (LEED Gold);
— BC Rencons Pravda, St. Petersburg  (LEED Gold);
— BC Rencons Business Park, St. Petersburg (LEED Platinum);
— BC Rencons Plaza, St. Petersburg (LEED Silver);
— BC Comcity, Moscow (LEED Gold);
— BC FortTower, St. Petersburg (LEED Gold);
— BC Rencons Fontanka, St. Petersburg (LEED Silver).

BREEAM certified projects of Rencons are:

Trinity Place (St. Petersburg, Russia) – Pass

Radumlya Logistic Complex (Moscow region, Russia) – Very good

The importance of EPC is increasing worldwide, year after year. The EPC contracting format ensures safe delivery of projects due to effective cooperation and joint efforts of project stakeholders. Rencons uses EPC contracts for its projects. As an EPC contractor, Rencons enters into joint venture and consortium agreements with a wide range of reputable international EPC contractors, technology providers, and financial institutions.

Our purpose is to establish solid long-term partnerships and provide mutual benefit to all project participants.

Over 28 years of progressive experience Rencons has completed more than 500 projects. Shopping malls and hotels, business complexes, infrastructure, industrial and energy projects shape the portfolio. Exclusive and grand-scale residential projects have special place in the company’s backlog.

Extensive international experience

Rencons won its first residential bid in 2006. Daudel clubhouse in Tyumen (Russia) is the business class real estate including 13 residential blocks, united by a common architectural design and yard area. Construction was completed in 2010. This project has turned out to be both a successful entry to a new construction niche for Rencons and a breakthrough for city’s urban development, where no such high standard residential complexes have been built before.

Rencons continues to grow and during several past years it participated in various projects in different countries. Residential complexes Neva Mansions in Ankara and Saifiye in Istanbul; Angondje residential project in Libreville, capital of Gabon, under PPP contract; 21-floor residential tower of modern Park Gulan complex in Erbil, Iraq; these are just a few.

In 2020 Rencons was chosen to become a general contractor of residential complex Homecity in Moscow, Russia. Project’s total area is 139,000 sq.m.

Highest residential skyscraper in Europe

Participating actively in the development of Moscow City, modern international business center, Rencons is a general contractor of Neva Towers. One of them will accommodate premium class apartments on its 79 floors.

Located nearby and being partly residential Federation Tower indeed opens new horizons to its residents: flats and apartments are located at a height of 180-350 meters. The skyscraper is procured with innovative engineering and latest input-outlet airing system, speed lifts and intellectual property management system.

BUILDING RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES IN SEVEN COUNTRIES

Quality and security are of paramount importance

Rencons has been always paying paramount attention to security and rational organization of construction process. In 2014 residential complex of Fili Grad in Moscow was awarded as the best construction site in the Moscow State Construction Supervision Committee competition.

Besides that Fili Grad was announced best construction site between Rencons sites according to the HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) report of 2014 prepared by external audit company.

Striving for excellence, Rencons has been continuing active growth, diversifying its project portfolio and strengthening its position in civil building. Increasing presence in Europe and Africa is one of our ambitious plans.
