Rencons has established effective co-operation with Volvo, one of the leading construction equipment dealers in the world. After the successful completion of a truck assembly plant in Kaluga, Russia, in 2009, Rencons was awarded two new projects: a tracked excavator plant and a logistics center. Both facilities are located in the city of Kaluga where Volvo has made significant investments. In July 2012, Rencons completed its seven month project of Volvo logistics center and shortly afterwards commenced a new tracked excavator plant. The plant is part of Volvo’s ongoing expansion into the Russian market and is supposed to meet the increasing demand in the country. The plant occupies a 15-hectare plot. The gross building area of the project is 25,500 m².
