FORT TOWER
Location:
Russia - St. Petersburg
The 80-meter high building of Fort Tower is a new office center situated in the prestigious location, in the middle of Moskovskiy prospect, in one of the most active business areas of St. Petersburg. Having been constructed in the neoclassicism architectural style, the project became a new landmark of the city’s southern districts.
Rencons was a general contractor of the project. At the stage of the zero cycle works, a rarely used Jet Grouting technology was applied to protect the underground structures. The fencing walls of the parking lot were built with use of the slurry wall technique. Usage of such advanced soil-stabilizing technologies made it possible to construct the underground structures directly above the inclined and main metro tunnels.
In August 2019, the “A” class office center with the total area of 46,650 sq. m. was awarded the LEED Gold Certificate.
The 25-meter glass dome covering a spacious artrium of the main lobby is a signature of the business center. The large amount of light penetrating through numerous facade windows and the lobby increases a three- dimensional effect of the space. Impressive terraces and green lounge zones embody the idea of comfort and complete the image of the building.
Besides offices, Fort Tower accommodates shops, banks, cafés and restaurants located in its zero and first floors. Two underground floors are designed for the car parking.
