The Ford Sollers plant in Vsevolozhsk, Leningrad Region, started its operations in July of 2002. The Vsevolozhsk facility was the first foreign-owned vehicle manufacturing plant in Russia today. It builds Ford Focus vehicles with all body styles and the 4-door Ford Mondeo. The technological process includes welding, painting, final assembly, and quality control.
The facility is located in 24 kilometers from St Petersburg. Warehouses, a storage area for finished products, welding, paint and assembly shops, and a track for inspecting finished products occupy an area of 26 hectares.
