MODERNIZATION OF OSKARSHAMN NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

The modernization of the Oskarshamn nuclear power plant is being carried out in Sweden.

Oskarshamn 2, connected to the grid for the first time in October 1974, has been undergoing an extensive modernization since 2007.

This includes, among other things, replacing the generator and transformer, the low pressure turbine, renovating the control room, adding a new reactor protection system, and new control equipment for the turbine facilities.
