LEED Gold Certificate awarded to Neva Towers MFC

LEED Gold Certificate has been awarded to Neva Towers MFC, which has become the first high-rise project with apartments in Russia to receive a gold certificate. “Renaissance Development” is one of the investors of that high-scale project, while “Renaissance Construction” acts as a general contractor.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a worldwide acknowledged building certification program, which confirms application of the most efficient and environment-friendly methods in design and construction. The LEED system has been elaborated by the USA Green Building Council (USGBC). Compared with the statistically average buildings, the LEED-certified buildings’ energy consumption is reduced by 25% with the operational costs being by 19% lower. Moreover, the Gold-level-certified buildings are notably distinguished in terms of energy efficiency.
