On November 28th, 2014, the grand opening ceremony of the Avia Park mall was held in Moscow. Europe’s largest shopping and entertainment complex was developed by Amma Development and implemented by Renaissance Construction.
The Avia Park project is located on Khodynka Field (Khodynskoye Pole), in the vicinity of the Dinamo and Aeroport metro stations. The total area of the complex including parking is 492,000 sq m. The total enclosed covered area is 390,000 sq m, which is equal to 36 football fields. The total leasable area amounts to 230,000 sq m.
Within 24 months, Renaissance Construction implemented this large-scale project as the general contractor. The company’s scope of work included design, execution and completion of the fully operational, functional and fully-equipped shopping mall and offices complying with all the client’s requirements. Renaissance also conducted all the necessary tests.
The Avia Park complex consists of shopping, entertainment and office areas. It has some permanent stores (a hypermarket, a DIY store, sports and furniture stores, and a cinema) within an area of 128,000 sq m and over 500 stores providing exceptional shopping opportunities in a new high quality retail area. The mall has all the latest entertainment facilities, including Russia’s largest multiplex cinema, 80 restaurants, a food court and an aquarium 6 m in diameter and 22 m tall located in the center of the main corridor. The fourth floor of the complex will have a green area arranged in the style of a city garden. Avia Park has a two-level parking lot with a capacity of 5,000 vehicles.
The stylish and functional architectural design of Avia Park provides a lot of space, air and light. The distinctive feature of the complex is its 12,000 sq m glass roof.
A great blend of fashion, entertainment and leisure make the Avia Park the ultimate choice for shoppers and visitors.
